My practice currently lives at the intersection of sculpture, installation, metalwork, and jewellery, where wonder and presence guide my hand. I am fascinated by how my objects can become vessels for wonder, magic, and enchantment in a world of instant gratification and short attention spans. Collection, observation, and absorption form the basis of my process; these fragments are later transformed through casting, engraving, and suspension into works that invite slowing down and looking up. Croatian mythology and the symbolism of amulets weave into this, grounding my practice in both cultural narrative and tactile devotion, where every detail holds a little bit of love.

^{Katie Dukovcic (she/her) is a travelling artist, originally from Boorloo (Perth) and holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from Curtin University (2022). She is a freelance artist and arts worker, having worked at The Indian Ocean Craft Triennial (IOTA24), John Curtin Gallery, and more recently in Provence, France where she undertook a 9-month residency and internship at NG Art Creative Residency. Dukovcic has exhibited in several exhibitions and received a HATCHED nomination in 2022 for her work “Attunement”. Being a ‘third culture kid’, Dukovcic encourages cultural exchange, weaving traditional myth and folklore into her work.}
